Lotus Village United

TESTIMONIAL

The impact of Lotus Village United, though the lens of our facility, has been both profound and meaningful. By providing supportive counseling, guidance, and positive role modeling,         Lotus Village United has played a vital role in the growth and development of at risk-youth within our program here at the Youth Development Center.

Through this mentorship, all male partipcants have developed a clear understanding of how to create and implement vision boards centered on entrepreneurship they wish to pursue upon their re-entry back into the community. Students have gained confidence in sharing their personal stories and have begun the important work of putting their plans on paper-documenting who they are today versus who they aspire to become in the future.

All of this work comes through the lens of Lotus Village United. A lens provides insights into the world and environment by refining focus-changing shape to project a sharper impage to the eye. In the same way, this mentorship program focuses on reshaping perspectives, transforming the sharp and rough edges of the past into the developing purity of character in today’s youth.

Lotus Village United has made a major and lasting impact on our youth, and we at Rockingham Youth Development Center are proud to partner with an organization so deeply committed to positive change.

Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.

Our Mission
